Heart of Stone is, at its core, the story of a survivor. Because of this, there is content in the book that may be difficult for some readers, including, but not limited to, depictions of and references to physical assault, blood, death, sexual assault, rape, panic attacks, depression, suicidal ideation, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Portions of this story may cause distress or trigger uncomfortable memories for survivors of sexual abuse.

In order to make reading Heart of Stone a safer experience for everyone, I have created a list of which chapters contain sensitive material. It breaks down the chapters that might be triggering into different levels of detail so you can decide how much you want to engage with each chapter (or if you would like to skip a chapter entirely).
